Maintenance

• Maintain relative humidity levels between 30% and 50% and room temperature between 60 and 80. A major change in moisture content may lead to serious cupping or gapping problems.

• Vacuum or sweep excess dirt and dust from floor surface.

• Spills should be given prompt attention with damp cloth to avoid soaking in and causing swelling and or staining.
• Use cleaning products specifically recommended by the manufacturer.
• Place rugs inside in entryways or any location that is a pivot point when walking. This will prevent possible scratching and abrasion from tracked in grit.
• Avoid walking on with stiletto and high heeled shoes, which can leave permanent dents.
• Use floor protectors on chairs, tables and appliances.
• Ultraviolet light will cause your hardwood floor to change color. To avoid uneven appearance, move area rugs occasionally.
