CarpetNylon -Most widely used carpet fiber. Synthetic material. Durable & resilient as well as resistant to soil and stains. Available in a wide variety of color and styling.

Polypropylene - Also referred to as Olefin. Synthetic material. Naturally stain and fade resistant, but not as resilient as nylon. Often used in loop pile carpets.

Polyester - Synthetic material used for its bulkiness, color clarity, and good stain and fade resistance. Not as resilient as nylon.

Wool - Natural fiber made of sheep coats. Original carpet fiber. Warm, soft and durable, but more expensive. Cleans well and ages gracefully. More limited in style and color range.
